Customer Success Lead @ Brio

Location: Toronto or Montreal. Also open to remote workers.

About the role

We're looking for our first Customer Success Lead to join our founding team. As an early hire, you'll report to the CEO and help shape how we support and grow relationships with our customers during this exciting time of growth. This is a key role in building Brio's future.

Brio helps alternative asset managers streamline their investor (LP) operations. Built as an internal tool by a forward-thinking fund manager and battle-tested for a decade, we understand firsthand the problems we're solving. We're now bringing our proven platform to a fast-growing market, helping other investment firms scale their investor base and offerings without the operational burden.

We're hitting our stride at Brio, with a strong set of early customers helping us refine our product and validate its value. We're setting up the foundation of our sales motion, and we're deeply focused on customer outcomes as we build toward product-market fit.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the post-sales customer journey, ensuring successful implementations and maintaining strong long-term relationships with customers.
  • Partner with the founders to architect our customer success strategy, building scalable processes and documentation that will serve as the foundation for our future team.
  • Proactively work with customers through regular check-ins and problem-solving.
  • Manage all customer relationships through our CRM and maintain consistent communication through company updates, product releases, and check-ins.
  • Collecting and synthesizing customer feedback, developing deep knowledge of our market, and understanding our customers' evolving needs to inform our Product roadmap.

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • 3+ years experience in customer success or account management in B2B SaaS, particularly working with high-value accounts ($20K+ ACV) and senior executives, and experience in leadership roles.
  • An understanding of the asset management industry - or, a curiosity about the space and you’re eager to dive deeper.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences.
  • A startup mindset - you're energized by building something new and thrive in dynamic environments where you can wear multiple hats.
  • A self-starting nature - you embrace ambiguity, take ownership, and find ways to move forward independently while knowing when to ask for help.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
