What you’ll do

• Design and create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations.
• Hold yourself to high standards of quality and presentation.
• Exemplify best practices in floral design and customer service.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on floral selections.
• Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Create visually appealing merchandising displays that attract customers.
• Stay updated on industry trends in floral design to inspire innovative creations.

Basic qualifications

• 2+ years proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Preferred qualifications

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online sales
• Multilingual abilities to cater to a diverse customer base

We hire for attitude and aptitude (mostly), but this role does require a number of years of experience in a florist. Please do not apply if you do not have significant experience in a physical florist shop!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
