As a Florist, you’ll be hands-on with bouquet production every day while also serving as a process leader and quality gatekeeper. You’ll help identify operation and product issues before they become problems, and support teammates through the busy crushes of Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and the holiday season. You bring a level of floral expertise that elevates everything the team produces.
If you’re looking for a way to grow your impact within a fast-moving, people-first company, this is your Callia moment.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a skilled floral professional. You love getting into the nitty gritty of the production process but are also interested in growing your leadership skills and your career. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and you have the ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying organized and efficient. You lead by example, fostering a positive team culture, and are always looking for ways to improve how things work.
THE JOB
- Receive, clean, and prepare flowers and greenery, ensuring all product is healthy and up to brand standards
- Hand-tie bouquets and arrange floral products following Callia’s recipes
- Ensure every product meets Callia’s high-quality standards, coaching the team when needed
- Work with the head office to ensure production stays on track and to manage escalations and resolutions to any issues
- Continuously improve processes to ensure each day runs smoothly and efficiently
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Miscellaneous start-up support duties as needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Proven floral expert, with good knowledge of best practices and exposure to buying (3+ years of experience, 5+ preferred)
- Ability to be on your feet for 30+ hours per week, with solid experience in floral production and bouquet-building
- Demonstrated people-oriented leader who thrives on fostering growth in their team
- Process- and detail-oriented “perfectionist” with an intense focus on efficiency and quality
- Positive, dedicated and results-oriented attitude
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and can support or motivate teammates when needed
